Besides fishing, Senja offers many experiences and activities. This applies both to those who desired an active vacation, or maybe you prefer a quieter vacation with the family.

Nature

The camp is ideal starting point for those wishing to experience the lush nature. If one wants to go in the mountains, the terrain is varied with tours for both experienced and inexperienced hikers. Terrain that varies from dramatic mountains to a friendly landscape with rolling hills and small forest.

The sea

The west coast is dominated by mountains that plunges straight down into the sea, but also the idyllic islands and sandy beaches.

By boat, you can enjoy a breathtaking scenery where you get a feeling of getting completely in touch with the elements. Take a trip out to the abandoned islands, or explore the 4-mile Selfjorden, where boat is the only option to get there.

Senja

Senja is the second largest island and has just under 8000 people. The island is known for its varied landscape and the exterior is dominated by mountains that plunges straight down into the sea. Here you will find big and small fjords, with fishing villages and towns. Husøy and Gryllefjord are small fishing villages well worth a visit. You'll find many attractions and museum which is open during the summer, For the children is SenjaTrollet and Hulderheimen well worth a visit.
